A young fan gets a hug from 14-year-old Laughing Pizza band member, Emily Schlosser

Laughing Pizza band members Lisa Michaelis, 14-year-old Emily Schlosser and Billy Schlosser brought their award-winning, playful family tunes to the Quick Center for the Arts on November 7, 2010 in a concert that benefited The Tiny Miracles Foundation.

On November 7, 2010, friends and supporters of The Tiny Miracles Foundation gathered together and danced to the music of Laughing Pizza at the Quick Center in Fairfield to celebrate National Prematurity Awareness Month.

The event was sponsored by many local business partners including David Osherow Orthodontics, Gofer Ice Cream, Priceline, Greenwich Ophthalmology Associates, Parker Ear, Nose and Throat, Sweet Rexie’s, Audi of Fairfield, Mercedes Benz of Fairfield, Withers Bergmann LLP and other local sponsors. Media sponsors included Moffly Media, Hersam Acorn Newspapers and Star 99.9FM radio. All proceeds from the Laughing Pizza concert benefited The Tiny Miracles Foundation's programs providing vital support and assistance to families with premature babies throughout Fairfield County.

Laughing Pizza star, Emily Schlosser, was born prematurely 14 years ago, and she and her family suffered through tremendous hardships as a result. Their experience with Emily’s premature birth and its consequences have inspired them in their artistic and performing endeavors, including performing this exclusive Connecticut benefit concert to support The Tiny Miracles Foundation, a cause clearly close to their hearts.

Laughing Pizza is a nationally acclaimed, award-winning family band that plays energetic and entertaining performances for kids and families of all ages. A six-time Parent's Choice Award recipient, Laughing Pizza has been called the "hit of the Hamptons," and has performed twice at the White House, most recently with Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers! They have been featured on the Today Show, Fox, NBC, CNN, and CBS Morning Shows, and appear regularly on PBS stations nationwide. Laughing Pizza is a lively, inspirational and educational group that is tons of fun for whole family!

Proceeds from the concert went to support The Tiny Miracles Foundation’s ongoing support programs that help families deal with the emotional and financial trauma of premature birth.
