Karen Green, a Jamaican immigrant, is the owner of two businesses in Bridgeport Connecticut: Green’s Baby Nurses and More LLC and Titus Cain’s Jamaican Cuisine LLC. Highly sought after as a Newborn Care Specialist, she has extensive experience and knowledge in her field, and over the years she has served many families of pre-term and full-term babies (singleton and multiples). Karen has served on the board of Action for Bridgeport Community Development Inc. (ABCD) as well as the chairperson for their Policy Council. She has also served as chairperson for Bridgeport Public School system Parent Advisory Council (PAC). Karen has been a volunteer and mentor with the Tiny Miracles Foundation since 2013. Her oldest daughter Dayna was born at 26 weeks gestation in Bridgeport Hospital at 2 lbs 1 oz. Dayna is now a healthy, happy high schooler who loves to read and write stories and wants to become a Movie Director. Karen lives in Bridgeport with her husband Clive and their three children Dayna, Rushane and Olivia.
