Kristie Esterly Godina

Board Member

Kristie Godina and her family have been long time supporters of The Tiny Miracles Foundation, Inc.’s mission. Kristie has been a community volunteer for many years holding various volunteer positions at local non-profit organizations, her church, and her children’s school. Soon after moving to the area, Kristie became an active member of the Junior League of Stamford-Norwalk, Inc. (2009-2014); and is now a sustaining member. Kristie has experience planning, organizing, and executing various community service events and fundraisers. She has also served on a grant review team for the New Canaan Community Foundation.

Kristie holds a bachelor’s degree from Wittenberg University and a Masters of Social Work with a concentration in school social work from Loyola University Chicago. Kristie spent several years in the education field before her tiny miracle was born in 2012 at 34 weeks gestation, weighing 5 lbs. 5 oz. Kristie and her family experienced first-hand the invaluable parent mentoring that TTMF provides during her son’s 2 week NICU stay and after discharge. In due course, she began volunteering with TTMF and then joined the board of directors in 2014.

Kristie lives in New Canaan with her husband, Mike, and their two children; their tiny miracle, Thomas, and his little sister, Ashley, born at 39 weeks.
