Darien Library Preemie Caps Drive A Huge Success!

Dante and Dad

(L-R) Emily Weiss, Leelee Klein, Caitlin Augusta, Joan Swerdloff

Plenty of knitting hands produced over seventy preemie caps that were generously donated to The Tiny Miracles Foundation.  The caps will be delivered to parents of premature babies in Stamford, Norwalk and Bridgeport Hospital Hospitals throughout the year. Thanks to the kindness of the knitters from the membership of the Darien Library, fragile babies in our area neonatal intensive care units will now have a hat that actually fits their tiny heads and brings a smile to their parents’ faces. Pictured from left to right are Darien Library staff members Emily Weiss, Leelee Klein of The Tiny Miracles Foundation, and Caitlin Augusta and Joan Swerdloff of The Darien Library.
