The Tiny Miracles Foundation Prepares for
“A Night of Groovin’ Miracles”

CELEBRATING LIFE’S TINY MIRACLES
Event Co-Chairs (left to right) Kerry Hanson of New Canaan, and Shelli Milazzo and Ariane Triay both of Darien, are volunteering their time to raise funding and awareness for The Tiny Miracles Foundation through the organization’s upcoming gala, “A Night of Groovin’ Miracles.” All three of the local mothers have a child who was born prematurely, and are now helping local families of babies born prematurely cope during this very difficult time.

To help fund the current support programs and growth of The Tiny Miracles Foundation, a group of volunteers from Lower Fairfield County is busy preparing for “A Night of Groovin’ Miracles.” The event will be held at Wee Burn Country Club on April 18th. Guests dressed in “danceable chic” attire will enjoy cocktails, dinner prepared by Wee Burn, and dancing to groovy music provided by Groove Events. The night will also include a video presentation by Tin Cup Productions that portrays the special needs of families with premature babies and the programs The Tiny Miracles Foundation provides to meet these needs. After the video, an exciting live auction will offer a vacation in the Dominican Republic, a ski trip to Lake Tahoe, a private Mexican fiesta party, a diamond necklace; a surprise live event evening in New York City and many more wonderful auction surprises that will engage the guests. In kind-sponsors include: Charisse Photography, Elysian Fields Facial Spa, Ole Mole, Party City, Samuel Owen Gallery, Tavern on the Green, TUTM Entertainment and WorldWide Property Management Inc. The event is sponsored by Norwalk Hospital, Stamford Hospital, and Bridgeport Hospital Foundation as well as several local families and family foundations.

The Tiny Miracles Foundation, Inc. (TTMF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping families with premature babies in the greater Fairfield County area. In 2008, 800 local families were helped by the organization’s various programs. The organization operates these programs with the help of over 100 volunteers who know from personal experience, that the premature birth of a child can be an isolating, confusing and frightening ordeal. TTMF currently provides most of their support programs at Bridgeport, Norwalk, and Stamford Hospitals. Their hospital programs are designed to enhance the hospital’s psycho social support services and family centered care for these families during this fragile time.
