“Groovin’ Miracles” a Miraculous Success

 

The Tiny Miracles Foundation (TTMF) raised over $150,000 at their “A Night of Groovin’ Miracles” fundraiser on April 18, 2009 at Wee Burn Country Club. Over 220 guests enjoyed a pre-gathering on the terrace, along with a “Putt for Preemies” contest on a gorgeous spring evening. The disco ball décor lit up the room for the dinner and exciting live auction followed by late night dancing to music provided by Groove Events. The night also included a video presentation by Tin Cup Productions that portrays the special needs of families with premature babies and the programs The Tiny Miracles Foundation provides to meet these needs.

The event was sponsored by Callari Auto Group, Norwalk Hospital, Stamford Hospital, and the Bridgeport Hospital Foundation as well as several local families and family foundations. In kind-corporate sponsors included: Aetos Capital LLC, Bayfield Imports Ltd., Charisse Photography, Elysian Fields Facial Spa, Groove Events, La Dame du Fromage, New Canaan Wine Merchants, Ole Mole, Party City, Samuel Owen Gallery, Tavern on the Green, TUTM Entertainment, Newstead Belmont Hills, and Worldwide Property Management Inc.

The Tiny Miracles Foundation, Inc. (TTMF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping families with premature babies in the greater Fairfield County area. In 2008, 800 local families were helped by the organization's various programs. The organization operates these programs with the help of over 100 volunteers who know from personal experience, that the premature birth of a child can be an isolating, confusing and frightening ordeal. TTMF currently provides most of their support programs at Bridgeport, Norwalk, and Stamford Hospitals.
