Patricia Cunningham

Board Member

Patricia Cunningham received a Bachelor of Science degree magna cum laude from Brown University in Applied Mathematics and Economics, a J.D. cum laude from Harvard Law School, a Masters of Science in Mathematics from Fairfield University, and an L.L.M. in Taxation from the New York University School of Law. She practiced tax law for ten years, first at Rogers & Wells (now Clifford Chance), where she focused on corporate and non-profit taxation, and then at Brown & Wood (now Sidley & Austin Brown & Wood), where she specialized in taxation of the securities industry. While at Rogers & Wells, Ms. Cunningham formed and helped run the Brooks Brothers Foundation, a charity formed to give college scholarships to high school seniors in honor of Brooks Brothers’ 75th Anniversary. She is currently an adjunct professor of Mathematics at Fairfield University. She has served on the Boards of Directors of both the Royle School and the Middlesex Middle School PTOs in Darien, CT, and of Darien TOPS (Teen Options Program). Ms. Cunningham chaired the 1999 Darien United Way Wine Tasting and Holiday Shopping Fundraiser, and was actively involved with Cub Scout Pack 56, serving as a den leader for ten years and as Advancements Chair. Ms. Cunningham served as the former Vice-President of the Tiny Miracles Foundation, Inc. Her son Evan was born at 29 weeks in 1992. Ms. Cunningham lives with her husband Bill and two sons in Darien, CT.
