Baby Nurses

A Baby Nurse is a trained childcare provider who comes into your home to help you with the day-to-day care of your baby (or babies) when they first come home from the hospital. Baby nurses generally work 24-hour days so they are on call at all times to care for the baby, but 8- and 12-hour shifts are also available through some agencies.

A Baby Nurse educates new parents on caring for their infant(s), helps establish a routine for the baby, and provides support for breastfeeding (or sterilizing and preparing bottles).
