Doula Services
Doulas provide support for the mother so you can get to know your baby (or babies) once you bring them home from the hospital. Although most doulas are trained in infant CPR, they are not medical support. Services vary from company to company, but can include: baby care, breastfeeding support, sibling care and household help, including light housekeeping, laundry, meals, errands and grocery shopping.
TTMF maintains a private list of baby nurses and doulas that have been recommended by families in the Fairfield County area who have had a premature baby. This list can be obtained by the calling our office at (203) 202-9714, or if you are in Norwalk or Stamford hospitals, the nurses station has the list.

MothersCare Doulas
The founders, Sheila Marley and Susan S. Keeney, were inspired to create MothersCare after the birth of Susan's twins in November of 1992. They are based in Stratford and offer doula services throughout Connecticut.
